Decrease level of cholesterol – tea catechins taken out from this tea were found to lower cholesterol and triglyceride level in a study done on hamsters after they were exposed to a high level of fat diet. More research is being done to prove this is also true for humans, yet there is sufficient information to know that people could indeed benefit from drinking jasmine green tea especially those on a high fat diet.
